Shalin was out of her element, as well. She had a unique aspect of the performance she was responsible for. "You're not the only one, Andrea," Shalin said, the girl also having Butterfree in her stomach.

The Flygon stretched her wings before they disappeared, vibrating as gently as she could manage them. "See, Sandy's going to be singing the melody, too. Genny, bet you didn't know they use their wings to sing! Thanks to my suit, she can even hit the really high notes." As if on cue, her wings began to squeak; though they only moved a minute distance, the high-pitched noise was still audible. It had to be; Flygon were capable of shattering glass with their shrieking wings, much like Yanmega was more well-known for doing.

If anything, she could mask her voice behind the other girls'... until she had her short solo part. That was the true source of her nerves.

As Genny passed the mic to Shalin, Sandy spread her wings and chirped them to the background melody. She would have the other girls backing her up while she was on lead. Their performance was a celebration of what Kanto was: a prosperous region before Rocket ruined it.

Were it not for the digital cue cards pointing at her from a hidden monitor, she would have forgotten her lines on more than one occasion. The crowd seemed more fascinated by the Flygon than Shalin, her wings appearing and disappearing as they buzzed swiftly and with surreal control.

Infinity Energy flowed between the two, relieving Shalin of her WORRIES and restoring her confidence. No matter how loud the dragon's wings got, they were just as pleasant to listen to as the music itself. The gallery began to clap along, applauding her. They would really applaud her during the finale she had planned!

As Sandy sang the main melody with her wings one more time, Shalin placed their microphone back into its tall stand, for all three of them would be in the spotlight for the finale!

It was a good thing Shalin had her Flygon and the other girls to hide behind; her voice had cracked at the very last line. She trembled, only picking herself up mentally when the audience chanted for an encore, both from Pon and from the Flygon. "Sandy, how about it? Give 'em another one!"

With a roar to get the crowd pumped, the Flygon hummed with the melody, matching Pon's pitch. They seemed to be most impressed with the high notes the ground-type could reach; she was squealing by the end of it, playing an entire octave above the Ogerpon and even continuing with a solo of her own.

Just when it looked like the Flygon was going to rest while the two girls finished the last few lines, Sandy and Shalin had an electrifying finale planned; harnessing her Sygna Suit's power, she hopped backwards onto one of the Pokémon's wings and posed triumphantly. Both of them glinted green as the dragon buzzed her trainer with a brief shriek timed with the girls' final note.

The performance was meant with thunderous applause and whistling, onlookers bedazzled with what they had seen.

Once the curtain had fallen, Shalin slid off her Flygon's wing and turned to face the others, stumbling and shaking. Had Andrea and Genny not been familiar with her, they may have thought she was still shaking from Sandy's vibrations. "I've... never ridden at a frequency that high before," she shakily replied, her steps backstage quite slow. Even her suit has its limits, Sandy's final shriek causing the Crystabloom and Sync Stone to emit steam from the energy output needed to keep her from going flying.

As Shalin and her companions turned a corner, the Flygon trainer twisted her ankle and fell. As painful as it looked, she felt hardly anything in the moment -- the vibrations had dulled her sense of touch. All she could do was laugh, happy that she didn't fall while performing. "I... I'll be okay..." the Pokémon rider trailed off as she followed the girls by crawling instead. She would find a bench or sofa to clamber onto and pass out...
